How we move through the world, experience pain, and make important choices is impacted by our learning history, relationships, biology, and environments. My aim is to support you in acknowledging and honoring the layers of influence in your life, as we work together to move toward the life you want to live. I view therapy as a partnership in which we bring our unique expertise together with common goals in mind (you are the expert in your own life!).
I use an overarching trauma-informed, anti-oppression approach and ground my interventions in the evidence-based science of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have worked in community settings throughout my career, and incorporate an understanding of systemic oppression and community healing into therapy.
I’ve supported past clients with:
Intergenerational trauma healing
Identity changes or restructuring a meaningful life
Specific trauma from interpersonal violence
Impoving sleep s
Managing chronic illness
Struggling with motivation or overwhelming anxiety in the face of world events
I especially enjoy working with individuals who are engaging in therapy for the first time. I would love to help you start your healing journey!

I’m passionate about promoting accessible and culturally-informed mental health care. The field of psychology has a long history of abusing and devaluing People of the Global Majority; many of us are working to grow beyond that history and create spaces where anyone can feel seen, respected, valued, and helped.
I’d love to join your group practice, clinic, university program, or agency on your journey to developing inclusive and anti-oppression-based practices through speaking and consultation. I’ve provided consultation and training to government agencies, medical and mental health clinics, university training programs, international and national professional conferences, and various agencies on topics spanning:
Ongoing consultation for early-career therapists
Language access and working with interpreters in mental health care
Considerations for mental health providers working with refugees and asylum-seekers
Cultural considerations when working with AAPI communities in mental health care
“Off the couch” interventions such as gardening, art, and yoga
Psychological Immigration Evaluations
Psychological Immigration Evaluations are typically sought for a non-US citizen seeking to remain legally within the United States. If your attorney has asked you to receive a psychological evaluation for asylum, a U Visa, T Visa, VAWA consideration, or cancellation of removal, I can help. I will work closely with you and your attorney to gather relevant information, use research-backed and culturally-relevant measures, and provide a comprehensive psychological framework of your circumstances to be used in your legal case.
While I am only able to provide direct services in English, we can discuss interpretation needs to ensure you are able to use the language you prefer. This service is available on a sliding scale, so please contact me directly, or have your attorney reach out, to discuss how I can help.
